Webb studied music most of his life, concentrating on the electric bass guitar and eventually getting a Bachelors of Music Education degree from the University of Delaware.
Having grown up with Star Wars, Webb always had a love for movies but never had an outlet and never could find the right people to begin to explore filmmaking.
In 2003, soon after joining the Phoenix Fan Force, he meet up with PFF member Joel Cranson. Joel had recently completed a short documentary about the Star Wars Episode II lineup and had shown it at the monthly PFF meeting. Webb and Joel teamed up to produce the DVD of "Looking for Star Wars" so that it could be distributed to the PFF. Shortly thereafter, Joel invited Webb to shoot and edit a short Star Wars fanfilm entitiled "Spirits of the Force." This was the invitation that Webb had been looking for, and jumped on the opportunity. Spirits of the Force is Webb's first independent film endevor.
Where Are They Now?
